Lost have found some light
The charm of books is lost and no longer appeal to our generation as they are now fascinated by a digital medium.
Isn’t it strange?
Books have lost their importance in front of the digital age. Digital medium gives access to a broad range of books virtually. Poets and writers are not getting much importance because of this digital world. Many versions of books are now available online even so people have lost interest in reading. When I interviewed different people who are fond of reading books, I realized their passion and love for writers and poets.
Books are someone’s best friend because sometimes they make you smile, motivate you, help you to overcome failure, boost your memory, enhance your vocabulary, and inspire you.
Due to a lack of awareness about the importance of reading books, people are no longer attracted to books. Therefore, I decided to use a social platform to encourage people towards reading books and deliver knowledge to them. To accomplish my goal, I will make a Facebook page to promote the importance of books. I will write a book review every week and upload a quotation daily.
What about those people who do not access social media?
Will they be neglected?
What if we help them by providing books?
Therefore, to help children living in slums, I decided to distribute books and conduct seminars. Children in those areas do not have access to books and social media. It will give them an opportunity to learn and grow.
